There is also an ice-cream parlour a café, a local shop and even a farm shop. Haverigg is a great base to explore the rest of the lake district. Windermere is less than an hour from the property. The neighbouring town of Millom is less than a 5-minute drive away where you will find a train station, petrol station, bars and restaurants, a theatre and a large Tesco’s.
